Freedom

The balloon known as Freedom is distinguished by its artwork, which evokes the design of Old Glory and inspires a sense of patriotism. Constructed in 2000 in Sioux Falls, SD, Freedom has been flown throughout the United States as well as in Saga, Japan. When fully inflated, Freedom stands nearly eight stories tall and accommodates 90,000 cubic feet of air. Freedom is available for tethered rides at festivals and private events, balloon glow exhibitions, educational programs in schools, and corporate marketing initiatives.

Cloud 9

Cloud 9 is our smallest hot air balloon, holding only 36,000 cubic feet of air and accommodating just one person—the pilot. Its compact size makes it ideal for occasions where a traditional balloon won’t fit, yet you still want that ballooning theme at your event. Cloud 9 creates an inviting atmosphere, shines beautifully at night, and works well for demonstrations, photo backdrops, and educational programs in schools.

Carolina Rainbow was our very first balloon, marking the start of everything. She mainly appears at events to glow, display banners, and entertain the crowd. Carolina Rainbow has flown throughout the USA and even in France.

Beach Bound

Beach Bound is a uniquely shaped balloon inspired by a 1964 VW Bus. Holding more than 105,000 cubic feet of air, it features two surfboards mounted on the roof, functioning headlights, taillights, and even a working horn. RE/MAX Balloons

Since 1992, Over the Rainbow Balloon Adventures has managed and piloted the RE/MAX balloon program throughout North and South Carolina. The Carolinas currently has 3 balloons serving the region. RE/MAX established their balloon program in 1978 and the RE/MAX balloon logo quickly became the flagship of the RE/MAX brand. RE/MAX is recognized as a global leader in real estate and maintains the world’s largest fleet of hot air balloons with more than 100 currently in operation. Remote Controlled Hot Air Balloons

We are expanding our portfolio of remote-controlled hot air balloons. These fully functional replicas of traditional hot air balloons are designed for environments with space constraints, providing the ambiance of ballooning where a full-size balloon is impractical. They are particularly suitable for corporate advertising when budget considerations preclude the use of a standard hot air balloon. In 2025, we launched WeeMax, the RE/MAX RC Hot Air Balloon, which can be featured alongside its larger counterpart or at events requiring a smaller display.
